Home tour – picture heavy
Sep 04I was going to blog about annoying adult things like cars breaking and financial annoyances but I figured I’d do something else. I decided to take y’all on a tour of my apartment. Be warned that I suck at decorating and do not do it and this is probably as clean as it gets. Colby also demanded that he be a part of the tour so he pops in every now and then to give us notice that he’s alive.

Colby has to be moved from next to me so I can take pictures. He likes B&BW lotion as a pillow

Before I move about I decide to take a 37w5d belly shot. God I look horrid.

Left side of my kitchen. You can see it also doubles as a washing room with my little portable washer and drying rack which has some type of clothing on it 90% of the time.

This side is more boring. You can see detergent and cereal on my fridge with my cell phone charger though.

One day about 2 weeks ago I decided to move my desk to the couch. I have yet to put it back. It’s more comfy over here.

Randy’s side of the living room. Much less organized and his best friend’s setup is on our TV stand permanently. Blah.

This is the stairway which will take you to my front door.

A hallway. How interesting. There are 2 closets at the end though.

And you’ve found my bedroom. It is very empty. My side of the bed has a lamp and alarm clock. His has the laptop for watching movies along with 3 water bottles. We also use separate blankets because he curls up in a cocoon and doesn’t share. I freeze.

Our closet. Colby decided to pop in and have some late night dinner while I was taking the pics. He hates that thing though and avoids it at all costs.

Cloth diaper stash! I have prefolds, covers, wipes, and pocket diapers along with some inserts in there.

Our bathroom is directly connected to our room. Since it’s only us 2, I LOVE it. It’s great for late night potty breaks.

Stand up showers kinda suck though.

Obligatory mirror shot. I usually do the cool thing and use a self timer but I figured i was standing there so… why not? My skin looks like death btw. I am breaking out like no one’s business.

Colby wants to know if we can go back to the living room so he can go sleep on the couch yet.

Get him to curl up in bed with me for a minute.

And he even agreed to look at the camera for once.
That concludes the tour of my ever so cozy dwelling. I like it very muchly (besides my kitchen floor which is due to be replaced this month). I also need to clean the hardwood floors of our bedroom but don’t know what to use on them.

Aww…nice. reminds me a lot of my apartment, especially with the paneling and the stand up shower..I really like my stand up shower though, although…it WOULD be nice to be able to lay down and take a nice warm bath.
Hehe I like your couch desk. Very handy.
Colby looks so furry and cuddly in the last photo, like a big teddy bear!
What a wonderful home! It’s so full of comfort and joy. It’s definitely a “home” and not a house. It’s great to see homes that people actually live in! Sometimes I wonder if people actually live in their houses.
Oh I love it! It looks so comfortable! I had almost the same color rug in my room back at my parent’s house, too! How awesome! Thanks for the tour!
I’m glad you decided to give a tour of your apartment…Looks very cozy!
Aww bless, thank you for the tour, I should do that
