36 week checkup
Aug 27I didn’t mean to sound angry or bitter in my last post. Just venting that pregnancy is not all the roses and butterflies some people attempt to make it out to be. I can’t wait to hold our daughter in my arms. Meeting her seems so incredibly far away although it’s only 3 1/2 weeks away until her due date.
I had my 36 week checkup yesterday and everything is still going well. She’s head down and I don’t see her moving any time soon. She is surrounded by a nice amount of fluid and has a heart beat of 117bpm. She’s very active and my BP is excellent. I gained 2 lbs this week (EWW). I just need to remember soon it will be off. My apartment sized washer is in so Randy and I are going to pick it up tomorrow. Then I am going to prep my cloth diapers. I’m excited over diapers. Wow. LOL. I also really need to organize all the clothes I have in garbage bags. My shower is on the 13th which is cutting it VERY close to the due date but I’m grateful. I need to get something for her to sleep in soon though, otherwise Randy is going to the couch.
Life is decent otherwise. My unemployment ran out so our income got slashed by about $600/month but we’ll manage. Don’t we always? I’m working on ChaCha daily and Randy is doing over time plus we’re just making sure not to splurge too often on unnecessary items. I’ve definitely learned in life where there is a will there is a way.
I don’t think you sound bitter…some of the aspects of pregnancy are not pleasant, to say the least. Glad to hear the appointment went well! Do you have a registry??
I don’t think you sounded angry or bitter at all. I am glad that everything is still looking good and healthy. I am so excited for you guys! I have been curious about cloth diapers and I’m curious about how they will work out for you. I’m eager to hear about them. Josh’s mother was telling me about how she used cloth diapers for all 3 of her sons. I hope your finances work out well. Definitely where there is a will there is a way, hun.
Glad to hear things are going well aside from the unemployment issue… hopefully the next 3.5weeks fly by.
I don’t think you sound bitter, I think you just get to the point where you want it over and done with so you can have the baby
